Timor-Leste at the 2008 Summer Paralympics : ウィキペディア英語版 | Timor-Leste at the 2008 Summer Paralympics
Timor-Leste (East Timor) sent a delegation to compete at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China. The country was said to send 11 representatives, who were to compete in the fields of the marathon, powerlifting, table tennis and wheelchair tennis. This would have made Timor-Leste's Paralympic delegation larger than its Olympic delegation to Beijing.〔("Poor but Proud" ), Agence France-Presse, June 8, 2008〕 However, official records give no indication that more than one East Timorese athlete (16-year-old powerlifter Lily Costa Silva〔(Athlete Biography ), Official Website of the 2008 Paralympic Games〕) eventually entered competition. Costa Silva was also listed as the country's flagbearer for both the opening〔(Opening Ceremony - Flagbearers' List ), International Paralympic Committee, September 6, 2008.〕 and the closing〔(Closing Ceremony - Flagbearers' List ), International Paralympic Committee, September 17, 2008.〕 ceremonies. == Powerlifting== (詳細はウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Timor-Leste at the 2008 Summer Paralympics」の詳細全文を読む
